The Monkey Painter

It was a wonderful sight to see Looming on the canvas what the eyes could see and what the mind could imagine. And one was surprised to keep watching for hours, as if hypnotysed - this little being strangely dressed who, by the sheer overlapping of oily matters, gave life to so many living colourful worlds. Captivated by the ballet of shapes and colours, the dumbfound looker didn't have a clue that what he took for a small person ( was it a child, a dwarf ?) was in fact a monkey, handing brushes.
